The first set of 1 black frame and 1 tortoise frame I ordered in June 2018, were fine for a while, and then the lower part of the black frame broke causing the lens to pop out. I liked having the black/brown options, so after a while, I ordered a second set. Once again, the lower part of the black frame broke causing the lens to pop out. I have two perfectly good pairs of the tortoise framed glasses, and two pair of broken black framed glasses. The picture shows both black pairs, the frames broke in almost the same place. I tried gluing the frame of the lower pair, but it didn't work.I contacted the seller, and they chose to do nothing about the odd coincidence, stating that they were beyond the return period. I even tried explaining that for whatever reason, the tortoise frames were great, that it could be a manufacturing issue on the black frames. For this reason, I will no longer shop at the palebluedot vendor.I like them for my cell phone and computer that what i am on most of the time. They are not that well for distance.Work well.....but I think I may need multiple strengths, meaning multiple pairs. Would buy again.Thrilled with these readers. Flexible temples. Sturdy. Large - which is what I wanted - less nodding head up and down, just shift eyes up and down. Look down for reading & writing, look out for computer monitor, look up for distance. Great OTC readers until my eyes get "bad" enough to need prescription lenses - and don't have to put on and off multiple pairs of glasses. Affordable price so I'm going to order another pair!Great for reading and computer use. Nice looking glasses but light around the ears.I ordered my first pair several months ago and loved them. The lenses were clear...the magnification worked well for me. But the plastic frame broke on one side. I ordered 2 more pair a month ago. One pair has already broke. I am very careful with them. I carry them in a hard, cushioned case when I'm not wearing them. I carefully clean them.....but it didn't matter. The frames are made of flimsy cheap plastic. The transitions are not as smooth as I would like, like prescription progressive glasses, but for the price there is not much other choice if you want multi reading zones.I don't think these are three powers in one but magnification of 1.5. I like them for reading my large print Bible.
